I've worked on projects relating to COVID-19 in India, child welfare, and translation studies. You can learn more about these projects on my page below.

COVID-19 in India Analysis

Since January 2022

I work on one of the few teams in India that performs analysis on India's COVID data to help the government and citizens make decisions. Currently, we are focusing on perceptions of normalcy during and after the pandemic. I specifically work on cleaning the large amount of data and creating helpful visualizations from it.

Analyzing Google Translate's Success on a Low Resource Language

January 3, 2022 - March 11, 2022

Translation is highly complicated and subjective process that people have been trying to replicate with machines for decades. I tested both the translation and speech-to-text feature of Google Translate in a low resource language, Marathi, in a consumer type use. I analyzed both features along with the user experience.

Foster care and child welfare is a topic I am very passionate about and want to improve the system using data science. While taking classes at Stanford, I decided to take the first step and analyze some of the public data to give insights on where more funding should go.
